Watch out...people will say that this thing is "universal" and that if you aren't getting directly connected via an SMS...then its not the same thing as GO800.

However, you are SO correct. There are so many avenues to contact people on your cellphone now. Text from your free contact list, email, your contact list itself, etc. No one is able to explain why someone would pay $1-100 (whatever the cost is going to be) to just allow someone to text a screen name to 46800 and get connected to a friend they already have (most likely) in their free contact list. On top of that, pay BY THE MINUTE...?

It just doesn't add up and screams lack of vision and understanding of the mobile market space.

Now, if they gave it away to everyone on twitter and facebook for free...sure fine. Then have an enterprise version for businesses...that would make sense (to me).
