2bStealthy--you claim to have "recently had experience with a Mac-based virus coming through your email".

Care to elaborate? 'cus if you're talking about an OS X-based virus, it would certainly be the first one, and quite noteworthy.

If you're talking about an old Classic Mac OS virus (one of the handful that were out there), you should specify this, since that has no more bearing on OS X than a Windows virus would (unless you still work with Classic, of course). It would also be noteworthy to have survived for the past 5 years or so.

If you're talking about something which isn't actually a virus/etc, then no offense, but you're spreading FUD unnecessarily.
