For Firefox users... There are some nifty little extensions for Firefox and one of them is called Nuke Anything.

Here's how it works: You put the mouse pointer over that obnoxious Flash advertisment at the top of the page, right click, and then click on the option that says "REMOVE THIS OBJECT". Just that quick, it is GONE and won't reappear until the page is reloaded. Or anything else on a web page you don't want to look at.


I love it. Get your copy (if you're using Mozilla's Firefox 1.0.1) by lauching Firefox, clicking Tools, then Extensions, then Get More Extensions.

You may have to search for it, just type NUKE ANYTHING in the search box, pull down EXTENSIONS as the search area, click GO, and it should find it right quick.

Browse through the other extensions to see if there others you might like to try. All these are free and were developed by other users of Firefox.
