Hello All. New to this board, but not to TECO. This is the best pro vs. con postings I have seen on a board! I've been long on this stock for a while with some significant investment $. Had some disappointments and had my hinney handed to me a few times with TECO, but still think the model is good in theory.

My question is, what do the primary owners (mentioned many times here) have to gain by shorting the stock if they have so much upside gain with the planned aquisitions? It is a cash poor company, and some of the primary owners have put up $$$ to keep it from insolvency. My thought is they are getting that $$$ from shorting to help bridge the gap until real profits come in; which is not a bad strategy for the longs. Can some of you can shed light on this question?
