There are oil leases all over federal and state land down here. I went hunting in one last month. On my way down the road, to the back of the property, I passed at least 3 wells, and 2 production areas.
Take a drive through Louisiana, lol. There are wells within 50 yards of schools, churches, businesses, homes, etc. You think national forests or management areas in the woods matter, lmao.
