Observation of Amigos and others:
Just some data and thoughts thrown out there this a.m.
Our Amigos list w/ the only exception of BSPM have all had increased short interest beginning around 6/2010.
Could not acquire data for the OTC Amigos CGPI/JADA/SIAF.
The NASDAQ short interest list bares this raw data.
BSPM short interest has not even gotten to 30K at any reported point and is currently 2800.
Why NOT this one?
Low PPS? Low volume? Legit company?
Other CGS that increased noticably, all the solars JKS,TSL,LDK,SOLF except CSUN (dropped 1MM over same period).
CELM, AMCF, CADC yet CHBT (dropped past 4 cycyles).
The recent IPO's of OINK, GAGA, MCOX all increased.
KNDI flat roughly 900K (sustained)
WATG roughly 3MM (sustained give or take 1MM)
SKBI flux 30-60K.
A noticable increase in last reported/most recent cycle of 11/30/10 across the board except where stated above.
Again, just some thoughts that might spur some others to thoughts.
Am not a conspriracy theorist but am a skeptical individual.
*Rash of end of year negative pieces and end of year short
interest prior to those pieces.
*Probable HFT / robo trading w/in our space and by some Hedge
funds and others.
Maybe this is just "normal" market behavior.
Just thrown out there for consumption and consideration in the spirit of our IHub collective gathering.
