TRUCKING To own a rig or not!

With a rising economy, the Russians getting into uranium and all of the other possible impacts on local county, surrounding county, demands on trucking services, what are the possibilities of our mining venture being caught up in a second fiddle position for hauling our valuable resources to a smelter, where ever that may be?

There most certainly are only so many trucks of appropriate size in the area. Bringing trucks from a smelter on a round trip pay is "X" amount of dollars.

Owning a company truck, what with maintenance and all the associated costs of lay time, etc., etc., etc., is also an expensive proposition. Labor may be cross trained to fill other positions with the mill or driving on the mining properties. There may or may not be benefits in ownership.

Does any one know whether or not projected production could justify the purchase and ownership of one truck rig, double rig, so as to not get caught in either an economic or trucking political squeeze?
