Charles Chou, Taipei; Christy Lee, DigiTimes.com [Wednesday 13 November 2002]
Affected by the delayed launch of K8-core processors, the introduction of 90-nanometer (nm) products by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will be pushed back to the first half of 2004, the company's latest roadmap showed.

--- More Delays.... AMD, Executing Itself Flawlessly (TM: Paul Engle). Funny, I don't hear "anybody" singing Dirk Myers praises anymore. I wonder why? Anyway, THIS was the part that was really interesting.....

In addition to its faster progress in transferring to 0.13-micron production, Intel has also started trial production on the 90nm process at its Fab 11X in New Mexico.

--- Fab11X. That would also be on 300mm wafers. Onward and Upward with 300mm/90nm!!! At least for intel, that is.
