SANTA ANA, Calif., March 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raptor Networks Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RPTN - News) is pleased to announce the successful completion of "virtual backplane" switch testing in which two production ER-1010 switches bound as a single switch at a distance of 96 Kilometers or 59 miles over single mode fiber using GTRAN optics. This now permits a single network switch to embody wire speed ports geographically distributed over an entire region.
