Part of it to is the basic user's greed. GOD FORBID someone actually slap the ask. It hurts the pps when people do this.

"Duh. Well. I is to be, uh...... slap dat ask. Youse is wong about me!" - then said person goes and puts in a buy 1-2 ticks below the ask. Genuis.
