I agree with your post mostly but I would like to offer my opinion on the part about the 5K sells...Folks who are trying to sell at the ask will not always have their buy orders filled completely .It's the same way at the bid sellers sometimes only get partial fills on a sell order if MM's see its trending down... they will do several partial fills on sell orders and buy orders and it appear they are walking it down or cranking it up. The MM's can fill 5K pieces on a larger order if they choose too...I used to think it was MM manipulation also but it's partial fills.The reason I feel differently about it is because Friday I was trying to load up on a couple hundred K on a stock "splitting the bid ask" and was getting partial fills for about 40 minutes until they finally filled my order.
.. Who's walking it down in reality is retail sellers or dilution from the company! There is alot of folks out there that still own millions of shares in the 000' people with alot of money who loaded on millions of shares by buying into a company before they start to move based on on an older PR and a hunch....You could have bought this after the split and before the hoopla created by TTDZ# and GBOE# for chump change!! My point is don't rely on the theory that MM's are manipulating stocks. They deal with thousands and thousands of tickers and to think they singled your particular ticker out to manipulate in naive in my opinion!! The key to success in the stock market is very simple!! Buy the @#%!@&* "DIP"!!!!!!! Glta!! dbg...;)
