ASPCA is good...saw all those sad lonely animal faces in tv ad....how about a bunch of sad lonely old human faces,,,,,???

now that i am here, i understand why there are so many suicides among widowed/alone aged men. when you have children, grown grandchildren, and now great grandchildren as well as once close nephews and nieces and the phone doesn't ring for days...so you have start calling around to hear another human voice besides the ever on tv, that is sad. then some ask why so many seniors over medicate and drink so much...that too is sad.
CALL THEM ASK THEM HOW THEY ARE DOING ... ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR ACTIVITIES.... THEIR JOYS...THEIR FEARS....THEIR WORRIES....THEIR PAIN......even if you have to pretend you really want to know, with all the crap you have going on in your adult lives......remember, you were number one in their busy lives during your early lives....try to make them at least number two in your busy lives, during their final years. they will soon be gone and nothing but a memory. you don't want to live with the 'i should of/could of' stuff ...as i do. i never knew what my ageing
parents were going through...ALONE.
