Good to hear. Socket 754 is a mistake that is going to take 2 years to undo, at price of lost sales probably in range of 100s of millions of dollars over the time period. It slowed down the migration to K8. Newcastle on Socket 939 would have been a great chips it that was what was introduced in September 2003, with 1 MB version reserved for FX line.
