Corporations Branch is in Regina.

I assume someone is digging up corporate records on the various companies CMKX purportedly had deals with to find out who incorporated the entity, who owns shares, what class of shares, who the directors are, if the entity is in good standing and most important are the directors liable and are the directors large CMKX shareholders.

I have no idea what anyone would hope to find or dig up by going into the records of the Mines Branch. As far as I know there is nothing there pertaining to CMKX as they have never filed any assessment work. Not filing assessment work is how they lost their most important claim that contained their only pipe. Instead of drilling a new pipe on their millions of acres of oreos they ringed the kimberlite formerly known as the Carolyn with holes even drilling in the garbage dump and they found nothing but junked freezers and tin cans.

No one has ever seen the underlying agreements with any of the various claim owners and CMKX. Most deals require the person obtaining the option to perform various work obligations to advance the lands to the next stage. Outside of some airborne work to the west and some drilling around the dump absolutely no work was performed in the latter part of 2004 and now 2005.

Contrary to popular belief there are no private minerals in the FALC area. If the claim is on forest or farm land it has the exact same requirements with respect to reporting work. All minerals under forest or farm land have the minerals reserved for the Crown. A claim owner is not obligated by law to report the results of his work.
