There's a few things that could be at play here.

Short the stock 2 or 3 ticks--for profit.
Lower the value for added buys--for profit.
Combination of both--for profit.

Other options are to let it trade for 1 tick up
and make some profit versus the above.

MMs can hide their buy/sells via ECNs so no one
knows who is doing what.

Maybe I'm completly wrong and just talking out my
rear, but those things DO occur in pinks. That's why
we need that uplisting BAD.
