You paid in too didn't you? They want to get rid of it, and that includes what you paid in. Are you OK with that? If you are a billionaire, then maybe so, but 2/3rds of the nation's retirees depend on SS for most of their retirement income. It kills me how willing they are to give it up to the rich. Trickle up economics.
