No, he was not jailed by the SEC Allez. Mario was indicted for tax evasion and threatened with additional prosecution for lying in a deposition. Prosecuted by the Department of Justice.

Before that, he was jailed for violating his probation on a previous drug conviction. Although, some originally assumed it was because he was in contempt of violating a court order for his securities related issues.
