BBX For those of you who haven't heard about the BBX exchange, it will, during the six months beginning 1/1/2003, replace the OTC Bulletin Board. Acceptance of applications will begin in a few weeks (July 2002). The market maker requirements will be the same as for the NASDAQ exchange, although the capital & trading price requirements will be much more lenient than for acceptance on the NASDAQ Small Cap market.

Of the approximately 3,400 stocks on the OTC BB now, it looks like only about 1,700 may initially be accepted on the BBX -- the rest of the OTC BB companies may probably have to be satisfied with being on the Pink Sheets.
