I had 39,950,000 and after the RS I had 799 shares. I sold just recently for the tax write off......it cost me the trade fee...I think I made 80 cents on the sale but cost me 9.20 to sell.

Yes, you have to sell by the end of the year to take a loss and get a tax credit!
