PUPPY HELP!

Does anyone know how long it takes puppies to get over the initial biting loosing teeth thing? My daughter has an 11 week old Goldendoodle who is a wonderful dog except for the biting which we control by giving him a chewie toy but it freaks the kids out because sometimes he jumps and bites them. I'm also going to google it.
