Kind of scary,,,sounds like OCD to me. Or it could be a kind of episodic and repetitive self-harm; they also are impulsive acts, and the difference between them seems to be a matter of degree.

Episodic self-harm is self-injurious behavior engaged in every so often by people who don't think about it otherwise and don't see themselves as "self-injurers."

It generally is a symptom of some other psychological disorder.

Maybe Madoff could share his personal counselor..what do ya think?

But seriously with the added paid staff, isn't it more of a corp. level decision making environment they all work in now?

I mean wasn't one of the ideas behind the last RS? That it takes away the decision making away from any one person?

Cause I get the impression that if his behavior/decision making becomes repetitive they’re are some who reason that maybe he should spend some time with Bernie.
