It was the management of Xechem International, not the shareholders, which took NIPRD to court over the revocation of the license; and 2). It was the attorney of the US shareholder's (of Xechem International) that was hired by NIPRD and whom eventually got the lawsuit dismissed. The shareholders have supported efforts to take over Xechem Nigeria to re-establish the production for over 17 months now (since the creditors of Xechem Nigeria, took Xechem Nigeria into Receivership) and have and will continue to be fully supportive of NICOSAN, Prof. Gamaniel and the entire staff at NIPRD. In Aug. of 2009 a proposal sponsored by the US shareholders was submitted to the creditors of Xechem Nigeria (at their request) outlining a new management team, financial capabilities and an operational plan.
