If your point is that it is not always clear whether information posted on a message board (or, more broadly, an internet site that is not company owned) finds its origins within the company, then yes, I see your point. This is why the source of the information is crucial when assessing its merits. If someone makes a statement about JBI on a message board, I do not blindly accept such statement as true, unless perhaps I know and trust the source. Often people post information together with links that may be used for verification. The question then is whether the verifying link is credible. Alternatively, someone may post a reference to where the information may be found. Again, there is a source for verification, and the merits of the information depend on the credibility of the source.

The point...don't trust everything you read on a message board, and certainly don't attribute everything you read on a message board to the company unless you can trace the information back to its source.
