One of the defendants,Thomas Boccieri, settled the allegations against him".

Sometimes it is easier to settle than it is to try and prove ones innocence. We really don't have enough information to determine whether or not he was guilty or innocent in the case that was brought up. We are not attorneys even though some of the posters may be but the majority of posters here are not qualified to pass judgement.
