I've owned this equity and been here on these boards for quite some time.

I also have called and spoken on occasion, and just as the anticipatory cheerleading has been here, I've heard it all the same.

It doesn't really matter to me, hearing one thing or another.

It's what you hear, who you hear it from, and what day it is that makes all the difference in an investment decision.

That said, I'm pretty pissed with the relative performance of this one, and for all the reasons I've already stated!

Now, if you please, enough about me. More about WNBD.

Here, read this from Eric's blog. Exemplifies the issues I speak of... IMO

QUESTION:

* Home Depot Canada website states the product is no longer available. Isn’t that odd! Is there something you need to tell shareholders or is this a HD.ca error?

ANSWER:

Major retailers do not all handle their on-line sales the same way; there are different approaches. The public’s assumption might be that the retailer sends its on-line ordered goods to customers from its own distribution centre. This is not always the case. Sometimes the retailer farms this out to others, and in particular, their suppliers. That is the way HomeDepot.ca is going. We supply HomeDepot.ca through a distributor. Now that HomeDepot.ca is using this method, we are in discussion with our distributor of how to reconcile the new responsibility – operationally and financially. Winning Brands has been active behind the scenes to bring about agreement between the parties in this regard. Winning Colours Stain Remover is still available in Home Depot stores in Canada – and Home Depot Canada continues to want to have it available on-line as well. There are many products that are available in HD stores that are not available through on-line ordering (because the retailer has not found a method of accomplishing this that is acceptable to the supplier), and other products that are available on-line, but not yet in stores. Situations like this, ie the availability gap, confront a supplier when the rules change, requiring new arrangements to be thought out and then implemented. All aspects of the modern supply chain are continously evolving – protocols pertaining to on-line ordering are evolving faster than most. I feel that we will arrive at a way to meet the interests of all parties in this case.
