I'm not sure you know what a CEO is supposed to do, judging from your post, at least there is one main responsibility that you continuously leave out.

The CEO is supposed to communicate to the shareholders, a credible vision.

Two out of the three camps believe our CEO has not communicated a credible vision. Camp 1 does. Camp 2 says they haven't performed on their vision. Camp 3 says the vision communicated is a ruse.

It is very important for shareholders making a decision to be able to know exactly which of the 3 above we are dealing with. Without that, we guess.

This is wrong. Period. These perceptions can be managed. And it is the CEO's responsibility to manage them. The degree to which they have not managed expectations show lack of skill.

But since you do not want to acknowledge this lack of skill, we have not much more to say. Because that is the starting point for you to understand what most of the shareholders here are going through. Please be aware that another preachy response as to why I should hold or sell will result in no more responses from me to you.
