Funny, some similar statement was used by Madoff's friends and cohorts backing him up at one time. The SEC and FBI looked at him several times also (if I remember right SEC 8 times). Of course now they look at him behind bars along with some of his friends and cohorts.

I wouldn't count on innocence just because to date no technical guilt has been proven. Just because the authorities look once, doesn't mean they won't look again. Along with that, just because something is legal in this Pinky world, doesn't mean one has to lose their money to it. In my view, there has been enough losses with DF and company. Some things just become common sense, if a big turkey is in front of you, well it probably will taste like a turkey if one eats it.
