Valid?? Of courses they are valid. When the US, Europe and so many other nations are tripping over each other to see who can drive the value of their currency down the quickest, the only winners are the commodities. The best commodities are those that reflect a storehouse of value -- primarily gold, then silver.

Silver should initially trade as well as gold, but since there is more silver in the ground and also because silver has a fairly substantial industrial usage, its demand as a storehouse will be negatively impacted by the almost inevitable economic slowdown that is to come.

I see very few, if any, scenarios that where there is not a lot of pain ahead.
