MMs are obliged to provide liquidity to the market. MMs cut both ways. on the upside they provide liquidity. on the downside they can manipulate the market in the short run for profit.

FRDM is a great stock to buy now. so if we have many buyers coming in the MMs will attempt to push the pps down to cover any remaining positions.

in penny land its "US" against the "MMs"...
