One's confidence in others (including God) often becomes shaken. God wants to reassure us that He is actively at work in our lives even though we may not be aware of his faithfulness to us. He won't lie to us. He will make His promises good. But many chronically depressed Christians fail to responsilbly handle thier interalized anger and refuse to do what they need to do to get over thier depression. They blame God for not making thier depression disappear, though in reality the responsilility is thier own.
