Since MusicMatrix has been officially "launched" and an ad-campaign seems to be in the near future, I think it would have been beneficial to offer more genres now, at the launch.
I know personally that if I were to want to create my own music videos using a website, I would want to create these videos with songs that I like to listen to. I speak for myself here, but I wouldn't want to create a music video with those songs because I don't really like much of the music being offered.
If a potential user has the same feelings, obviously he or she will probably leave the website to never return because his or her music genre is not offered at the moment.
Obviously this is only my opinion and I mean no disrespect. While the genre choice of the company to start may be a complete success, I feel that the music being offered may turn potential user off during their first, and potentially last, visit to the site.
