The MICROWAVE VISION Group (NYSE-Euronext: ALMIC) Announces the Signing of a Contract for $2 M (1.45 MEUR) in Asia


This new Contract, From a Major Asian Industrial Client, Confirms the Strong International Recognition of the MICROWAVE VISION Group in the Aerospace and Defense Sector, Where 59% of its Sales are Generated

The contracted system is dedicated to measuring antenna radiation characteristics as quickly as possible. It permits the measurement of very broad bands of frequencies, from 200 MHz to 18 GHz, in a single test.

The system is composed of a rotating mechanical arm and a 12 m diameter multi-probe arch, part of the latest generation of products from the MICROWAVE VISION Group. It combines the expertise of the American company ORBIT/FR and the French company SATIMO, who for the past two years have been operating under the same holding company, MICROWAVE VISION.

In effect, SATIMO, a telecom specialist, sought a more favorable position in the Aerospace and Defense sector with the 2008 integration of ORBIT/FR, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ORFR). At the conclusion of 2010, the MICROWAVE VISION Group confirms confidence in its strength in the Telecommunications and Aerospace & Defense sectors, its two main markets. Accordingly, the Group anticipates an increase in this activity for 2011.
