Watch yourself... not saying they don't have anything to offer only that they are the people who largely screwed up Calypso. They left Calypso and started Gridline communications. Duncan Wine was one of the original founders but has taken a back seat in the past few years. George Schilling was the Pres/Ceo of Gridline last I checked. I don't know if Blaze Kadaru and some of the other ex-calypsoites are still there or not. In the beginning of Gridline, the company was almost 100% managed by people with direct ties to Calypso.

They say they offer broad band over power lines but it is more like rubber bands over power lines from what I can see. It works, but on a much more limited basis than they would like to PR about. I honestly thought they had even gone out of Business. Many of the "smart electric meters" that the electric utilities have use this technology also.

Your post reminds me that I have not checked on them lately. I have monitored them for years but not as an investor, only to see how the ties between the various people in Calypso's history work. It has always bothered me why a Florida Company (Calypso) would suddently find itself staffed by Houstonites. It is my opinion that DeWine et al (now Northgate) has a whole lot more history with the past actions of Calypso than anybody can believe. This idea that Carlos screwed the shareholders may be as much a PR campaign as anything to deflect from the actions of DeWine.

This post is largely opinion based upon a lot of research and "curious" happenstance. More of a "if there is smoke, is there fire" kind of things. Certainly lots of smoke.

I would assume you have been approached by Northgate securities (past or present) personnel about this investment. If so, I would assume they have disclosed their involvement with Gridline to the same extent they did with Calypso.

I have no humble opinions, but I do have opinions and those are what I express in my posts. BUT...I have been wrong before and likely will be wrong again so do your own research and don't blame me if you are too lazy to do so.
