"The facility was closed earlier this year and the loans repaid." We may have not liked the way to go about it, but IMO, better than the chaos that would ensue if these major institutions had been left to fail. Millions trying to get their money out of a bank all at the same time is not a world I want to live in. The loans were paid back, many at a profit to the Fed and life goes on. The lesser of two evils was chosen.
