CEU: Call me skeptical but that statement did not say much other than them responding at all. For that credit is due.
"Accusations are baseless" is a stretch IMO unless they have moved to a new building and forgot to document that piece of info.
Or the PI's got the address completely wrong or they just happened to go there while the building/interiors were being renovated. I mean the building was very noticably clean. The wood floors really shined and that jumped out at me along with a security guard being there.
