Not if they buy one of several excellent Gold Mutual Funds.
George Cole could probably make a recomendation.
My kids have the Fidelity Select Gold Fund.
A deflationary depression would not help them either.
Also retirement benefits will have to be indexed for inflation-
If not the outcry would be deafening.
