WNBD is in business to build a national and worldwide brand in Winning Colours.

You data is old and stale imo. Did you watch the video? How big is that city in South Africa? In my 'little world' - I'd say HUGE! Building and people = messes! And opportunities for WC. As a human, I care for the environment and those not as well off as others. As a business man, I see there is opportunity in South Africa.

Global companies with a presence in South Africa all cite numerous advantages for setting up shop in the country, from low labour costs to excellent infrastructure – and a base to export products internationally.

Jim Myers, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in South Africa, says that nearly 50% of the chamber's members are Fortune 500 companies, and that over 90% operate beyond South Africa's borders into southern Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and across the continent.

"The sophisticated business environment of South Africa provides a powerful strategic export and manufacturing platform for achieving global competitive advantage, cost reductions and new market access," says Myers.

And don't forget, after WNBD mentioning its intentions and shipping product to South Africa....

Walmart ENTERS South Africa (why would Wally do that?) They are not turned off by the ugly side of the coin.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is offering to buy South African retailer Massmart Holdings Ltd. for about $4.25 billion in a bid to jump-start growth beyond its sluggish U.S. business.

A deal would give the world's largest retailer an opening to expand in South Africa, a fast-growing economy but one that's also troubled by high crime and a 24 percent unemployment rate. It also has a heavily unionized work force.

Wal-Mart has focused on expanding overseas, particularly in emerging markets, but South Africa had not been an area that officials had discussed as a potential opportunity.

"South Africa possesses attractive market dynamics, favorable demographic trends and a growing economy," Executive Vice President Andy Bond said in a statement. Wal-Mart has sourced products there but doesn't have a retail presence, company officials confirmed.
