Toxin Guard™ is a patented diagnostic system that tests food for target pathogens and indicates a positive test by displaying a dramatic visual signal to alert the consumer, retailer or food inspector.

The diagnostic test is printed on flexible plastic film used for food packaging, and it can be applied to food wrap and sandwich/freezer bags, and in additional applications, such as pouch-packaged juice or dairy products.

The diagnostic tests can be targeted to detect freshness degradation, as well as the presence of specific food hazards, pesticides, or indicators of genetic modification.
