That is complete BS. It has nothing to do with being a valued client or as a way of saying thank you. Brokers could care less what you pay for a stock, as long as they make a commission.

The only reason people are getting this in the 5 digit area is because a MM is willing to sell for that much, plain and simple.

If it isn't clear by now, RCC is dumping every last share they can to make some money.
