i was suspect long ago that a simple air permit wasnt the panacea which would lead to massive revenues.
oh well..............
I talked with TED Williams from the solid waste dept in Albany today . He said as of WED this week on a conference call with region 9 Buffalo, with Mark Hans, that they have recommended that JBI be required to have a solid waste permit. Mark Hans is in Buffalo and I think if one wants to call him, he will tell you they are going along with that idea.
I talked to Steve Sitzman last Monday at the urging of brig to call donna at the DEC. Steve is donna's boss. Of course we all know he is in the air permit dept. He stated as did Ted Williams today, that no air permit will be issued until the solid waste permit is ready. 2 to 4 months was the range of time to process with 2 being the absolute soonest .
