I share your frustrations about the mentality of extended silence. However, there may be good reasons for it. For example, the obvious one is the expense. Other reasons may include a lesson learned on the MJ app, that touted something that has not materialized some 7 months after it was said to be released. Perhaps that disappointment was not just one that the stockholders had to digest? It may have made the management shy about shooting off their mouths and then backing it up with nothing that was tangible. That may be only part of it, though. It may also be a consequence of negotiations behind the scenes that require utmost client confidentiality - that makes some possible sense to me. I think that the next PR that is not a quarterly report is going to have some real substance to it or else they won't bother. The new quarterly noted that the company has SECURED THE RIGHT TO RELEASE historical footage never before seen by the general public. That statement will most likely be established with a PR. When you look carefully it says they have "secured the rights to release...", that might imply that they had the rights secured previously and now have the right to RELEASE it - but is that right bound to a contract that stipulates a release date? Also, "never before seen by the general public" implies to me that the original footage was in a private collection and/or it was seen live at one time by a limited public, such as a performance. Also, as I recall, it was slated to appear before year's end. Surely as many have suggested, it will come at an optimal moment to take advantage of the onslaught of Holiday buying that has commenced officially today. If MRNJ has already secured the rights to release the footage then I wonder what is stopping them at this point? Timing is very important in business matters, anyone in business knows that to be an unforgiving fact. Buying is in the minds of millions of people right now. Confusius say, " all is lost to he who hesitates."
