I spoil him shamelessly, I'm too soft a touch. (Or "touched, I forget witch.)
...But I ask guests not feed him so I know how much he's had.
Another Thanksgiving, with another large dog, everyone was giving him "treats" and this caused him bowel-trouble in the middle of the night, that was obvious something he was unable to control...poor Boots looked sad he made a mess..I told him, "Its not your fault, boy."...he seemed to understand.
