My Understanding

1. Key... United State Law maker are in the process of signing off on new Anti-Piracy/Copyright Laws.

2. Key... Music Companies would either stop printing or encrypt all music disks. (you can listen but can't copy or record without a key)

3. Key... Music Video are being Watermarked(Copywright)maybe also encrypted...No License to show it on your Web page you must take it down. Already seeing that being enforced. 1800's because of stamp piracy the US government watermark stamp...same thing proof of ownership.

4. Key...Monitoring, enforcement, licensing agreements and Music Company's working together.

5. Radio station would most likely pay a licensing fee to play artist work or have some type of agreement.

I'm defiantly sure that there is more to it than this...However in 18-24 months I highly doubt New Releases will be available in stores. You the client, will need to go to a online store to purchase single or Album of your favorite Artist and then download it to our personal music device for $$. Because of encryption and watermarking it will be your and only yours. Also making it useless to copy or pirate. I believe you have also seen recently that some pirated or shared music file company's have been taken down by the Federal Government to better prove my point. Pirating Music is a Billion dollar per year loss to the Music Industry...It maybe finally drawing it's final breath...
