When I first read the shareholders update I thought that the wording "clean room application" would refer to the Hotel and Motel industry. But in the paragraph I've attached in quotes has me puzzled. Why the focus on the equipment and only doing it when the plant is closed. In the case of lettuce and other crops in the field many time the crops are the source of the contamination.

Instead of only treating the problem while the plant is closed why wouldn't it make more sense to build an enclosed area like a tunnel surrounding a conveyer belt that the food would travel on and be gased for a certain amount of time while the food is being processed.

"Another promising sector for AsepticSure™ is the food processing industry, one example being cheese processing plants. At the request of a cheese processor who had a major financial loss due to salmonella and E-coli contaminated products, we have completed enough science applicable to this sector that we are confident we can greatly enhance food safety through the use of our equipment on a regular basis inside of plants during their shut down hours of operation. To proceed from the science side of this specific application into the building of appropriately sized specialty equipment for the intended application, will be expensive. This is another sector in which we are hopeful of obtaining early commercial success.

Closely related to the sterilization equipment required for use in the food processing industry, is equipment for clean room sterilization. The size of the spaces to be sterilized are very similar, thus the design requirements are the same, or very nearly so. It is sometimes taken for granted that clean room manufacturing facilities are clean. However, they are no different than other spaces of concern. When they become contaminated with serious pathogens, it is a challenging situation. Once again we believe a large commercial variant of AsepticSure™ similar to what is required for large room sterilization such as inside of food processing plants, will address these requirements."
