Considering the financial challenges that Helix has been faced with, I'm not so sure they will ever get deals like this. Their financial track record would give me pause if I were looking to spend over $1 million on wind turbines. My concern would be...where will Helix be a year from now if I have a problem with my turbines??? Helix needs to get out and sell their product to small customers, then maybe the bigs ones will notice. But we can't even sell one here or one there. Before you know it, Helix will miss this window of opportunity and go under.

Zinnwald Lithium wins Saxony government endorsement for lithium project after robust PFS

Zinnwald Lithium PLC (LSE:ZNWD, OTC:ZNWLF) chief executive Anton du Plessis talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s recently published pre-feasibility study (PFS) for its Zinnwald Lithium Project, located in Saxony, Germany. The project is designed to supply battery-grade lithium hydroxide to the European market and has now received public backing from the Saxony government. Du Plessis outlined that the PFS demonstrates a scalable, long-life mining operation, starting with 18,000 tonnes per annum of lithium hydroxide and potentially scaling to 35,000 tonnes in a second phase. He stated, “We published our PFS on Monday that showed an economic project of significant scale… a globally significant project in terms of scale.” The economics were highlighted as robust, with a post-tax NPV of €2.20 billion and an internal rate of return of approximately 20%. The location of the project — 35km south of Dresden — positions it strategically at the heart of Germany and the EU, aligning with Europe’s push for regional supply chains of critical raw materials. Du Plessis also emphasised the importance of the local endorsement, noting, “To have the public endorsement, as we had, is extremely important to us.” The next step for the company is to optimise the project in preparation for a Definitive Feasibility Study, expected in 2026. SSV Capital repays £2.5M early, eyes expansion

SSV Capital PLC CEO Ankur Ghosh talked with Proactive about the company’s early loan repayment, expansion in fintech and real estate, and upcoming plans for 2025. SSV Capital has made strides in solidifying its financial position, having repaid a £2.5 million convertible loan note ahead of schedule. Ghosh attributed the decision to strong investor trust and confidence in the company’s banking and fintech operations. “If our balance sheet is strong, why can’t we repay them early?” he stated, highlighting the company's proactive approach even in a challenging financial climate. Ghosh also discussed momentum behind SSV Smart Pay, noting positive reception from both merchants and customers and ambitious targets of scaling to 2 million transactions this year. Nexus Minerals expands Payns Find gold target

Nexus Minerals Ltd managing director Andy Tudor talked with Proactive about the latest exploration success at the Payns Find gold target, part of the company's Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia. Tudor described the program as “exciting” following a third air core drilling campaign that confirmed high-grade intercepts and significantly expanded the mineralised footprint. He said, “All of the attributes for a big system are here,” highlighting consistent grades of up to 5.99g/t at the extremities of a 900m by 750m target zone. The air core results revealed both supergene and fresh rock mineralisation, with around 30% of the 163 holes showing elevated geochemistry in the final metre — a strong indicator of a large underlying system. “It’s that grade in the supergene and in the fresh rock that’s got us excited,” Tudor said. He also pointed to the presence of a full suite of alteration minerals — cerussite, rutile, tourmaline, and albite — typically associated with major gold systems in the region. With the air core phase now complete, Nexus is turning to reverse circulation (RC) drill planning. Tudor confirmed that air core drilling would continue regionally, while the company prepares for a comprehensive RC program at Payns Find to test depth extensions down to 120–150m.
