First let me address, I sold QBID "because" of the chart. Also because I needed to bail my wife out of trouble but why did I pick QBID and not any other? BECAUSE of the chart. (that was at .0050)

Now, let me address that question. I'll make it simple because I can find so many reasons why, but let me stick with the "chart" reason. It's simply because it keeps dropping below support and it basically cannot create higher top or bottom peaks after another.

There are "RARE" cases where the price went totally against the charts indications.

Today, news came out about a company that they recorded a record loss for the 1st Quarter, in fact the loss was 6.5 million compared to 600k last year! Losses were 700% more. 7 times more losses this quarter, compared to last years!

Guess what, the charts were showing uptrend, and the stock did not drop. So news apparently has very little factor compared to the technicals. (AEPI)
