Hey enzo...on etrade and the divi:

i had several written communications back and forth where they changed their story...of course, "upon further investigation"...(initially, they told me, in writing mind you, that they accidentally issued the shares to me twice, so i was showing retraction because of that mistake...and then when i pointed out i had zero additional shares after the retraction, they took a half day to come back to me with the new claim of mistake).


they just say that they issue shares on the divi date (15th or soon after), but didn't "know" that the divi's were restricted or being sent/mailed to them for distribution....


so..the story line is this..etrade added the shares, then figured out that they (etrade) had it wrong, so took them away and waits now for the "real" divis to be distributed...

translation: they issue shares in the amount of the divi, then retract and then again, issue the real divi when it "arrives"...

cleared their books, to be compliant (some indicate this was to allow them to continue/cover shorting), and then play dumb...
