It won't. There are already multiple LMWH available. Superior to lovenox, how? That is not even the issue. Working exactly like lovenox is the issue. All these drugs work similar to lovenox, and can be used to the same effect. There is no shortage of different types of LMWH medications. But lovenox is the most popular and most understood. They all can do pretty much the same thing. Is one superior? I don't know, don't care, nobody cares, because any superiority is superficial anyways since these compounds are so similar. What is important is that the medication behaves the same every time. So you want to use the exact same LMWH medication so that the doctor can better predict how the drug will behave, time after time, when used upon millions of patients, year after year. Which is kind of important when dealing with a drug that is messing with your blood in this fashion. Lovenox is the most used, and the most understood, and has become the standard.

So when you say superior, I don't even think you understand what you are addressing. What is important is acting exactly as the doctor predicts it will act. And that is why having a generic identical to lovenox is so important. All that "junk" that Teva cannot reproduce is kind of important in this regard. Good luck marketing a "superior" LMWH medication that is designed to identically copy the "active" ingredients of lovenox.
