Subzero, I think Intel has already proven with their last few releases that they only intend to have volume launches from now on. A few 3.06GHz Pentium 4 chips from obscure online stores will do absolutely nothing for Intel's revenue, but it will do great things for Intel's reputation as a stable CPU provider, and improve customer relations, when they are able to provide wide availability of the chip when they actually launch. I think Intel has figured out that paper launches aren't all the PR that they're cracked up to be. AMD is still learning.
