The case was filed against the company prior to it becoming CPRK. In 2005 Daryn Fleming, then CEO of International Broadcasting Corporation, made fraudulent statements about acquiring affiliate stations. The SEC brought action against him for misrepresentation.

On December 19, 2007, WUCC performed a reverse merger with International Broadcasting Corporation, and changed the name to Copper King Mining Corporation. The management of IBC (based in Spokane, Washington) is not the management of CPRK (based in Milford, Utah). Companies often perform reverse mergers to save costs on their IPO. It is unfortunate in this case that the history of the former company continues to taint the current one.

Does CPRK have problems? Obviously... we're in bankruptcy. Is this one of them? No. Do we have some unscrupulous individuals at the helm? Possibly... we'll know more when the complaint against Davis Accounting Group is ruled upon. Regardless, any inappropriate actions by current management are not those described in the SEC's complaint.
